I have decreased libido
Hardly any desire what so ever when i look at

And worst of all cannot feel the sensation when i have orgasm.

Yeah had the same issues. If I were you I would try 0.25 MG EOD and see if the sides subside. Lots of people have reported success with 0.25. It wont grow anything but might help halt the progression.

There's a lot of wishful thinking about finasteride. You're lowering your DHT, of course there is likely to be some drop in libido. Some guys will be ok but many will feel it.

I discussed it with my GP just this week..in his words, it will cause some sexual sides. He himself wont use it but uses 'other hair meds', presumably just minoxidil.

Kinda sounds like fear mongering lol. It's a matter of tone, not content. I usually just say present the research, give your opinion/personal account, but not with language that may dissuade or persuade the reader. Let them decide for themselves. For many it works out/their hair is a bigger priority/etc. etc.

I didnt start finasteride for a year because of the potential sides / PFS / ect. becasue of seeing posts like that. I spent that time doing research, talking to 4 different doctors and really weighing the risk/reward. Wish I would have started earlier

So you're trying to say that because of the posts like mine you've kept losing your hair for a year that might have been saved if you used finasteride? You can't put responsibility on me for that, that's your decision. Again, you're trying to reframe it like I'm deliberately scaring people away from finasteride because I had problems or I am bald and bitter, which is not true. I am just providing the facts and information about this drug that was originally reported safe. And for some people it was sadly far from safe.

Again, from the tone and content of your posts, I do not believe for one second you are trying to help people out of the goodness of your heart.

I take full responsibility for delaying taking finasteride for a year, not blaming posts like yours at all, just saying they influenced me. Everyone should look at the full picture and weigh the risk vs reward. But they should be provided the whole picture and not one side of it.

The loss of the "morning wood" suggested I should stop this drug.
The "morning wood" seems to have the function of keeping your penis "in shape" for when you really need it.
When I totally lost that "ability" I stopped finasteride. It took one year to have it back...
