I gave her 1.25mg of finasteride tonight and will get her on Rogaine Foam and Nizoral and spironolactone shampoo with white curcumin.

My family doctor said to my mom that an old women swallowed pills for prostate (certainly it was finasteride) for her hairloss problem and died.

I'm going to mix her up some pH adjusted baby shampoo with lavender essential oil, 2% spironolactone, and 1% white curcumin. I'll show her how to use the foam. And I'll give her a low dose of finasteride, what ever is practical for her. I guess she can use a pill cutter.

tell her to meet her doctor and she can get a prescription for oral spironolactone...she's a female, women have been using spironolactone for hairloss & hirtusim.

The point of my post was to mention something I've noticed a lot of: women get male pattern baldness too. And if her brother is nW7, there is a good chance she will bald in front.

I've read many safety studies on finasteride, and it seems the only risk is that if she gets pregnant with a male fetus, finasteride can give it a very small penis, ruining the kid's life. My sister has no intentions of getting pregnant again, and if she does, I'll make sure she gets an abortion, like I did last time.My sister does not want more kids. And she won't have any more. I'll let her know what will happen if she does, and that I'll pay for the next abortion.

i lol'ed so hard. feeding dutasteride to a baby. genius.

i have a better idea though saf. how about we physically castrate the baby at age 5 if it's a boy and then he will never go bald.

why are you so convinced that her hair is thinning because of androgens? dutasteride won't work for her and neither will finasteride if the hair loss isn't because of androgens attacking the follicles
