Presently I have been using the derma roller for about 5 months. I was thinking about upgrading to the Derma pen and here is why.
I only use the Derma Roller on my hairline and an inch or two back from that. My hair is longer and it constantly gets pulled and torn out with the roller. This is not the end of the world, but to get farther into my hairline is problematic. When I am finished using the roller, I leave it in alcohol all night and scrub it with a toothbrush to clean it out.
I recently saw a video where a guy used the Derma Pen over his entire scalp and thought that was an interesting solution to the entire scalp challenge. But when I researched it I found that you need to change the needles after every use (apparently). If this is the case, it would be a very expensive proposition.

My questions:
- Does any one have experience using the derma pen ?
- Which is the best brand for the buck?
- How often do you change the cartridges?
- What are the results like?
