For anyone that has quit propecia over low libido and erectile dysfunction, I have had great success with 25mg of DHEA everyday. After being off finasteride for a year, I FINALLY feel back to normal. DHEA is good stuff.

If you want a very high chance of getting gyno, run DHEA. Read about DHEA in any steroid forum and everyone that knows roids hates it cause it has a high chance to give you gyno.

If you do not taper down off of DHEA, you will most likely get gyno. If you are not 40+, you shouldn't even think if taking DHEA. Even with proper PCT, the chances of getting gyno after running DHEA is pretty high. There are much better ways to up your test levels without resorting to DHEA.

If you are 40 or 50, then sure, run DHEA because you can probably use it. Any age before about 40, you're just asking for problems.

I'm glad it worked for you though. :)

I agree with Harie. Actually, women could probably benefit a lot more from supplementing with DHEA than men. As a male, I wouldn't touch DHEA until into my forties. Just realize, a little bit of DHEA goes a long way, even more true for a woman of ANY age. I personally think 25mg a day is too high, but again, you could always have your DHEA levels tested. Or you could switch between DHEA and 7-keto, which doesn't have the equivalent risk of increasing/decreasing hormonal levels.

I don't trust info from the steroid using, body builder communities. Those guys tweak their hormones so much with various supplements, I doubt they have any idea of what's going on with their bodies. All I know is finestrade made me feel about 10 years older. DHEA made me feel about 15 years younger. It's working good for me.

I can see that happening: feeling younger on DHEA, especially if you're 35-40+. Just remember that when messing with hormones, less is more. You don't want to do well today, only to suffer down the road tomorrow. And basically all of those bodybuilders overindulge to excess on a lot of different supplements. And then they end up suffering as they get older. I cannot understand this type of mentality.
