If that is true that zinc levels are inversely proportional to DHT levels though I will have to double check I am getting enough zinc.

I looked at the sources he provides to support the claim that DHT isn't responsible for hair loss and all they say is how zinc deficiency can increase hair loss, they say nothing about how DHT is or is not related to hair loss.

DHT must cause increase in muscle mass, some steroids are injections of almost pure DHT

Yeah I wasn't impressed with too many of his sources. And I don't like the supporting claims of finasteride based on rat studies. On a cognitive level I know I felt different while on finasteride. Just can't explain the feeling. Nothing bad. Just different.

I think some stuff like this is pretty exaggerated. I would like to see some large study showing a decent difference in hair between zinc and placebo. I just dont buy into the vitamin theory of hair loss whether its zinc or whatever else. You think zinc lowers DHT and helps hair? Prove it. I havent seen the proof if it does exist

Is this claim true?

Just to clarify, Anti-ESTROGEN drugs have been used recently to treat prostate enlargement (BPH), and they are very successful, with less side-effects(6)(7) (8) (9). So if they were wrong about DHT causing prostate enlargement, maybe they were wrong about DHT and hair loss too.
