I been on minoxidil since about may and started using nizoral around September.

I tried propcia twice July and August, with taking it once a day I was getting sides effects with in 2 weeks and stopped. The second time i started noticing them in about 10 days. (ED and even stinging when urinating. My Doctor told me not to take it no more after that. And yes i know its a non common side and no its not a UTI or anything)

So in my eyes propecia isnt even a option anymore

Anything i can take along with minoxidil and nizoral that block the DHT?

Im at the point where im looking to get a loan to get a hair transplant to end this all, well for now till i need another i guess...

Any help is appreciated

As far as I know there isn't anything else that is FDA approved. You could try other options though. For instance, I'm taking maxa-hair pills EOD in conjunction with finasteride that I take EOD. Also, sacred hair growth might be an option. Who knows if they work though.

What about dutasteride? What's the main difference between dutasteride and finasteride?

How much should i reduce it to?

And im 24 now and sure it wont stop but, i want to be proactive rather that reactive. That may be just the first hair transplant im guessing and maybe another in about 5 years?

Why don't replace finasteride maybe RU or CB?? These both stuff are more powerful then finasteride and is said no side effects.
