is it possible that some people produce larger or smaller size dht particles? Seems to me like this might play a role in male pattern baldness. maybe something triggers us to start producing larger or smaller size particles. i think particle size might effect dht's ability to bind with the hair follicle. has anyone found research on this topic, or does it sound insane?

What gave you this novel idea ?

I have always suffered from small DHT and never gave it a second chance, now I have seen this post it has made me think twice.

Protein folding is a vast and intricate topic. DHT is a hormone -- a protein. When a protein is expressed, it "spontaneously" folds into a shape. For the most part, it "knows automatically" and will "form the correct shape." I have not seen a paper that proposes DHT misfolding as a pathway to this specific pathology.
