Most of the time, hair loss is not related to a vitamin deficiency. If it is not related to a vitamin deficiency, then taking vitamins can't prevent the hair loss. So taking them really can't help you regrow hair. So, then why do so many people on here take them to help?
people take propecia which has very little finasteride in it which blocks one part of dht gene that causes male pattern baldness. Avodart blocks two parts of gene which cause male pattern baldness. So, whats better I think its avodart! The downside of it, not enough research on the drug has been done. But if it blocks two instead of only one i would have to go with the two, right or no??????

I guess because it won't do you any harm to take vitamins and there is other benefits putting aside hairloss

Actually no drug can block "a gene", what Finasteride and Dutasteride inhibit (not block) are enzymes.

my point was

my point is that duts must be better if it block to "ENZYMES" instead of only one!!!! My other point is why people take vitamins if the dont need them because if you take them your body will reject them or you can cause other problems with taking so many you dont even need so i made it a question, and asked why do they take them if you dont need them is that ok or no but I guess i will stand corrected but thanks for your insite on that

1. I think the RDA for many vitamins is lower than what they should be.

2. There are many things that we need to live healthily that haven't been scientifically defined, yet.

Actually, for male pattern baldness the only enzyme you're interested in blocking is the type II enzyme. I'll give you that dutasteride blocks more of it than finasteride (About 98% for dutasteride and 86% for finasteride)
