I was wondering just how big of an impact diet has on hair loss and prevention of hair loss. Right now, I would say I have a fairly poor diet, and a pretty bad receding hairline. Would improving my diet significantly reduce my hair loss? Also, what would kind of foods should I eat and avoid?

I don't think a persons diet has much impact on hairloss. I've seen many many fat slobs with a perfect hairline.

A healthy diet will almost certainly help prevent hair loss to some extent, as well as improve your appearance overall. Foods high in antioxidants and fiber will help improve circulation and flush out toxins, and possibly DHT, from your scalp. Diet has many of the same effects on your body as other lifestyle factors such as stress, and stress definitely has a powerful impact.

Diet has a bigger impact on our overall health, longevity, happiness and functionality than any other lifestyle factor. Besides, you're presumably trying to improve your hair to improve your appearance, and a healthy diet will do that as well.
