Hi guys, I recently came back from the barbers and had a shower and noticed all the recently cut hair was very dark and quite thick, much darker and thicker than the shed hair that usually falls out.
I've been trying to find out information about hair at the end of its life being thinner, but that doesn't seem to be the case (nor does it make sense anyway) so is the shed hair thinner because of possible hair miniaturization?
In terms of any hair loss happening my crown is fine but i do have a little recession at the front, but I think right now that is just a mature line as I've had it since i was about 17 which is going on 6 years now. Nor does my hair seem to be shedding at a faster rate than usual. I just found it very strange that the shed hair is lighter and thinner than the normal hair.
