Dilemma

Hi All

My current regime consists of propecia 1mg a day & Nizoral 3x a week, which I've been on for 10 months. I've had good results on my hairline, where I seen some regrowth:). Still have thinning on my crown & this doesn't seem to have improved much.

I'm considering starting minoxidil, but I'm only going to able to apply 1ml once a day. Have been trying to avoid it, because of the inconvinience, greasiness, dependence, etc.

Questions - should I give it a few more months to see if my current regime is enough? will one application a day be worthwhile? can I apply it to wet hair safely (booklet says no - why?)?

Thanks :)

My feeling is that minoxidil 1x per day will only help w/ maintenance - and that's only useful if you've been using it for about a year or more.

Your options seem to be:

1. Wait, or,

2. Go w/ Dr. Lees minoxidil 5%, which is not greasy, drys in 5 - 10 minutes, and is totally unnoticeable.

PS: Yes - you can apply minoxidil to a hydrated scalp - infact, it help increase the monox absorbtion and efficiency. Some people can't tolerate the increased absorbtion rate though - so be careful at first.
