I recently joined this Forum and reading many threads makes me wonder.
By using Meds and Treatments for hair loss are you just delaying it..
Or can you actually stop hair loss for good?
I know you have to continue any meds to keep the results but..
Do the meds eventually stop working?
Sorry if there is already a post about this.
My hair thinning has been pretty slow and i would be happy with what i have.
Im hoping i can keep my hair for 5-7 more years and maybe they..
Will have some new groundbreaking drug out there lol

Around 80% of people will totally halt male pattern baldness for 5 years
Within this 80%, around 30% re-grew some hair. There are no studies as of yet past the five year mark. However there are some people who claim to have held of hair loss for up to 10 years.

The meds don't stop working, but after a peroid of maintainence, male pattern baldness eventually creeps up on you, but very slowly.

Finasteride will most likely halt your male pattern baldness for 5 to 7 years.
P.S This ground breaking solution i.e. hair multiplication etc may only be 5 - 7 years away (But don't get your hopes up)
