Do i carry on or give up?

No one in my family is bald...no-one mother's side or father's side.

i am a diffuse thinner, and now it's receding fast.

when a light shines on my head you can just see my scalp my hair is that thin.

i have been on and off Propecia 1mg since OCTOBER 2007...i didn't ever notice much difference.

I just don't know if it's makeing it better or worse.

have you thought about adding minoxidil? That may thicken things up for you.

Try adding minoxidil as the above poster suggested. Or try going for some dutasteride, maybe you need a more powerful DHT blocker that blocks both type 1 and type 2 reductabase,
