Washing your hair twice a day will obviously keep it cleaner and remove excess sebum, but I believe the root cause is finding out what is triggering your body to produce excess sebum. Put simply, I doubt that shampooing twice a day would reduce hair loss.

What about your facial skin? Do you have acne, rosacea, or seborrheic dermatitis? I would be pretty surprised if not.

if you shampoo ur hair a lot ur body responds by releasing a lot of oils because it is constantly stripped of its natural oils. I havn't washed my hair since July and its fine. It takes a few months for your body to regulate once you top using shampoo. During that time you can use baking soda to help keep the grease at bay and eventually you will never need to shampoo again. If you use nizoral this is obviously not an option.

So I agree with you in that having oily scalp/hair is at least a part of the cause of hairloss. Being very oily myself I've been trying to find good ways to reduce the sebum my scalp produces, unsuccessfully so far unfortunately. However I don't think washing your hair more is the solution, from a lot of the research I've done and from what I can tell about myself, over washing (twice a day) does more harm then good.
