I'VE READ YOUR 3 DIFFERNET TYPES OF male pattern baldness, BUT I DIDN'T FUlly understand. could you come again, in a more simple texting?

I do not wash my hair in the course of the week since i straighten it, and i need the sebum to keep it looking natural. can this, according to one of you 3 male pattern baldness explain why i have such bad tingeling tne itching? is it the sebum that's letting micro- beings live on my scalp, and the itching is part of the emune response against them? or is it that reason + regular self emune attack known in male pattern baldness? even after i wash my hair with nizoral after one week i still itch!imediatly. isn't nizoral suppose to kill micro- beings?

Finally what can I do for the itching? i'd love to know the cause as much as the cure.
thanks from all my heart

That was just something that I put together, because I really do feel like not everyone with male pattern baldness has the same physiology occurring initially, but the end result is still the same for most.

Some people swear by Nizoral and it's a great product, but it's a crappy product with regards to its ability to act as an anti-androgen. It's not on the scalp long enough and it seems to do a lot of people more damage than good as prolonged seems to cause problems.

It's tough to recommend it to people, but if you're having a tough time controlling sebum and the tingling sensation, I highly recommend that you go out an buy some apple cider vinegar. The stuff smells...a lot, so be somewhere where people won't mind you smelling for a half hour. Leave the stuff in for a half hour and then shampoo your hair using baby shampoo. I use Johnson's and Johnson's Baby shampoo with Vitmain E and Honey 2X per day.

I really don't get the scalp pain or itch anymore since I started using the baby shampoo and I've always shampooed my hair that much, so it is surprising that I don't have the same amount of sebum production.

As for not shampooing your hair at all, that's going to be trouble for you if you have a lot of sebum production going on. Bacteria can cause the production of pro-inflammatory fatty acids and lead to inflammation, tingling, and pain.

The key for you is to find a shampoo that works for you that won't strip your hair of its natural oils while also stopping inflammation. Baby shampoo does that for me, but something else might work for you. Some guys like Tree Tree Oil Shampoos, as well, but those cause me problems like excessive dryness, so I don't use them.

It's pretty much up to you.

If you feel like you really do have seborrheic dermatitis, then you probably need to see a dermatologist to make sure it doesn't progress as it's a disease that can lead to follicular plugging and lipping.

THX ALOT:
I must understand, seborrheic dermatitis is a state in which sebum on the scalp, due to not washing, or ecsessive sebum prodaction, leads to the growth of microorganisims, and the itch and pain are the EMUNE respoonse? in that case the itch and tingle are not due to the emune system attacking the fallicles, and not a part of loosing hair?If so, how cone when i wash my hair with nizoral i still get an itch?

THX ALOT, i'm really saf and i'd love help.
