Doctor says no to minoxidil (Regain)

Hey guys


Yeah I started shedding and could see where it was headed.. so I went to the Doctor and got the Proscar with no problems.. however he said NO to combine it with Minoxidil (Regain Forte) and talked me away from it. He didn't really get into why I shouldn't use it, but talked about an itchy scalp and skin irritations, and ignored Nizoral when I brought it up.

So should just go down and buy it, as I don't need a prescription from the Doctor.. or should I combine it with the Proscar ?

i know this might sound bad but ignore the doctors advice and get on minoxidil and nizoral along with finasteride...

Forget him, like Mj9 said, he was clearly ignorant about the problem. Get some kirkland/foam minoxidil of ebay.

Rogaine foam burned, irritated my scalp. Had to stop.
Will Kirkland Foam, 5% minoxidil do the same?
Where do you get 2% nizoral Shampoo?
