Does anyone take dutasteride and finasteride?

Would this be recommended, or are they basically the same thing?

From what I've read on the boards here, it seems a lot of guys try finasteride, then switch to dutasteride if they have sides on finasteride. A lot of people here seem to think finasteride works better than dutasteride, is this correct?

Don't take them together. Dutasteride has been proven to be more effective than finasteride. Only an idiot would claim otherwise.

dutasteride is better? That doesn't really seem to be the consensus around these boards...

Tests show dutasteride is better. I started taking dutasteride about 7 weeks ago and haven't seen any improvement yet. However, I am still hoping, because I believe the clinical studies over my anecdotal results.

Finasteride + Rogaine no longer seem to be strong enough for me. I am thinking about adding one Avodart A MONTH to my regimen. Don´t know why, just a feeling. I have been on Avodart for about 3 years and hair looked better in general though I had a major shed after about 2 years. I stopped due to health worries. Any thoughts?

Adding just one Avodart a month isn't going to do anything substantive for you, if you're already taking finasteride. I'd suggest adding one of the other topical products, instead. Something with multiple SOD ingredients would be an obvious choice! :)
