Does finasteride work better for some than Dutasteride?

Hello,


Has anyone taken both finasteride and dutasteride separately and lost more ground on dutasteride?


Been using avodart for close to 8 months and my hair is in a much worse condition than it's ever been. Although finasteride seemed to thicken up the top/ crown section of my hair it didn't hold the temples. Jumped on to avodart….and my word, things are going south. Don't know what to do. Please help!

variance due to shedding can be high over time this is not enough to conclude dutasteride is working for you worse than finasteride

I don't see how dutasteride wouldn't work better unless it somehow didn't lower your DHT as much as finasteride did which I think is a strange argument to make

Thanks for the input so far guys. I really can't get my head around this one. I've been on it for 8 months and expected to see some improvement by now. It's not just the miniaturised hairs that are disappearing and not coming back, it's terminal hair too.

Would still really appreciate anyones advice who perhaps has had a similar experience.

Possibly a shed and it will grow back but you'll never know unless you hang in there.

zzzzz had shedding as well and he has made great progress.
