does shorter hair look better?

the hair on the crown of my head and temples is thinning a lot. ive got pretty long hair at the moment but im wondering if it will look better/less like im losing hair if i cut it short.


any thoughts? i would post pics but my camera sucks.

It depends some guys like Gordon Ramsey and Daniel Craig grow their hair out to disguise receeding temples.

I think it depends on the thickness. Growing out my hair always looks bad because it is so thin and you can see scalp through it. Pretty soon it starts looking like a limp combover, not a good look.

Guys with thick hair can grow it out and use it to cover their affected areas.

yea i can hide it a little bit but its still noticable that my hair is thinning.

I think it looks way better/thicker when its cut shorter. I would suggest going to 3/4 inch or shorter.

In most cases, yes, thinner hair looks better shorter.
