hello. what is the best way to dry hair before applying minoxidil? i started using it since march last year. ive never used a towel in fear that some of the chemicals might get into my hair (detergent, laundry soap, etc) so what ive been doing after washing my hair is to use my fingers to comb and pat it until dry and then apply the minoxidil. is this ok? i inquired about this with the local sales rep of minoxidil and she said that i might be pulling the vellous hair thats starting to grow whenever i use my fingers to comb my hair. can someone please enlighten me. thanks.

just use a towel man. if chemicals in your towel make you lose hair, then so would the ones on your pillow, and when you pull your shirt over your head...

don't be too pedantic man.

I dry my hair with a hair dryer to limit the systematic absorbtion from having wet hair. Then I use the eye dropper to 'draw' rather than 'drip' the minoxidil onto my scalp, this way none is wasted on the hair.

It's not riddiculous, I have noticed side effects with damp hair, also appling on dry hair allows me to see how much is going on the scalp.

What is riddiculous though is you thinking you have male pattern baldness.

My post was directed towards theApostle. I am saying that it's ridiculous to NOT use a towel after showering because there is an irrational fear of getting detergent/chemicals on the scalp.

Be easy. It looks like a male pattern baldness to me.
