Hi I am doing similar only using finasteride instead of dutasteride.

I'm 5 weeks in to finasteride/minoxidil. Shedding same amount as always. Not seeing any regrowth yet.

2 weeks into spironolactone. I'm taking 50-75mg of spironolactone a day depending.

What's your time frame and dose?

Your hair needs to shed first. Then go into the catagen phase where there is no growth, I think this is at least 6 weeks. Then when the follicles enter the anagen phase, the hairs should be thicker when they reemerge. All hair loss products need a few months at a minimum before any positive change is seen in hair growth.

That dosage of spironolactone is not enough....you need like 150mg-200mg per day

duta about 1.5 years and spironolactone about 5 months. minoxidil probably for like 6 years ..... im taking 150 mg of spironolactone and do not want to go up to 200mg due to sides. So either i stay the course for a while longer or possibly look into something new in place of spironolactone
