dutasteride side effects - how long do they last compared to finasteride?

I just read about how dutasteride has a much longer half-life than finasteride so if you stop taking it, the side-effects last longer. But does this have any effect on how long 'temporary' side-effects last compared to finasteride if you continue taking it? Is there any difference in general?

And to anyone who experienced bad enough sides on dutasteride to stop taking it, how long was it until the sides went away?
