I was just wondering if anyone knows of any studies indicating that superficial ketoconazole prevents hair loss? Because why doesnt Nizoral ever advertise as "may decrease hair loss as well", and why is "possible hair loss" a side effect? I've read that 5-alpha reductase is at the base of hair follicles and in the skin, so I'm not arguing, I'm just wondering why it hasnt been mentioned before and if there are any clinical studies on this.
I've been on the Big 3 for about 6 months now and it's going great, but I am just making sure that there's a reason behind people using nizoral beyond "oral keto may decrease hair loss so topicals gotta".
