So I am looking for more information about hair loss and environmental factors. So we know its genetics, but there is an environmental factor, which increases the likelihood of people who are genetically prone to hair loss. The Japanese researcher Masumi Inaba believes it has to do with a Western diet. He mentions Japanese immigrants who moved from Japan during WW2 to the U.S. were more likely to loose their hair. And the westernization after the war lead to more hair loss. He also mentions people who live in the cities in Japan are 4 times more likely to loose their hair then people who live in rural areas. So according to this it is not all genetics.

According to a study in Massachusetts men have lost a good deal of testosterone these days. Here is a chart. http://www.ourstolenfuture.org/Images/graphs/2006/2006-1210testdecline.png I dont know if this mean anything. But if a decrease in testerone means less hair, then we know this is valuable information. I know the processed meat we eat are injected with hormones. And there many xenoestrogens in our environment like in plastics and in our food. Should we stay away from these things?

So it can not be all genetics, but also lifestyle. Which is why we need to figure out what lifestyle. Does anyone else have examples of how environmental factors play a role in male pattern baldness? Also, what cultures or countries have the least amount of male pattern baldness and what ones have the most?
