Excessive hair fallout when pulling it out - pathology/norm?

Hello to everyone :) I'm 20 years old, possibly starting to have same problems with hairloss. Here's the thing that got me noticed:

I've read about the so-called pull test, where you pick a bunch of hair (40-60), and pull them out slowly but firmly, and after several times judge the result. Bein curious, I wanted to do it my own way - grabbed a much greater amount of hair (ie, put sth like 2/3 of the fingers' length in my temple hair). It is said that it's normal to lose ca. 100 hair per day, but during my "test", I could see that each time a hair comes out, sometimes even 2-4. In 10 minutes I got counting up to 150(!), from all over the top of my head, before I got pissed off... I did the same thing in the back, but barely 10-20 came out.

The question is: can such test be deemed reliable, or you can just pull your hair out this way without stopping? Please don't think of me as being paranoic, I'm not gonna check my hair this way every day:) Just want to ask, is there anything to worry about? I always used to have a raised hairline, and could notice some slight temples 2 years ago (NW2). No symptoms (hopefully) of baldness as yet, except that after a whole day I can see some hair tangled in my sweater, and loads of dandruff, but no excessive fallout during washing/combing. Almost no hair history, dad and both grandpas have excellent hairstyle, just one of the uncles is going bald.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated:)
