Facial hair with finasteride

I've read a few people say they've noticed an increase in facial hair with finasteride. Has this happened to a lot of you? I dont understand, if it's a dht blocker, why would it promote facial hair?

finasteride isn't going to effect your facial hair in any major way.

Increase in facial hair is more likely a result of getting older.

me either .. i do wish i wouldn't get ear hair though .. I pull the little bastards out but they keep coming back
