Hey guys,

I'm only 22 years old and I have been steadily loosing my hair for about a year now, so I have spent the past few weeks looking into possible treatments. It's looking like Propecia is the most effective treatment out there but the side affects are terrifying me. I am really nervous to use it because I'm still in college and having to deal with ed and other side affects at this time in my life is embarrassing and could possibly be traumatizing. On top of this I have read that side affects could also include penile shrinkage and orgasm disorder among others. The scariest thing I have read is that these affects could last for up to 40 months after i stop taking the drug and in some cases they could be permanent!

if you guys could just let me know what is the likelihood of developing these side affects and what is the chance of them becoming permanent?

I'm on finasteride and I'm going to smash in an hour. Try it out man, if you get sides just stop, they will go away.

Also when I started finasteride I convinced myself I had sides, at this point it's quite evident I never had them and my inability to get an erection was extremely psychological. Although the initial shift in hormones could've played a part.

My opinion, you're at a good age and it's worth a shot. I'm 23 and ever since I low key told some of my friends who were balding what they could do, they take it and don't seem to have any problems
