Hi all... Rant of a 19 year old!

I'm fed up with hair loss, fed up because people don't respect me the same because of hair loss.

I don't take any medication to stop hair loss, to be honest I'd rather not spend all that money just to suit society. I don't mind the odd sarcastic joke from a friend or colleague, but its those nasty comments that annoy me, a girl the other week, played me for a joke, approached me and pretended to like me etc, so I bought her a drink as any guy would do, then she said "do you think I would want to be seen with a baldy bastard like you?" all her friends started howling with laughter. Ruined my night. Its not the first time.

I've had bouncers at clubs/bars saying "come back when you've got a hairline" etc.

It's not my hairline that I'm worrying about, loads of guys have receding hairlines, the only thing I'm worrying about is my crown, its gone, and I'm only 19 years old. The crown is the 'embarrassing' part of hair loss.

I'll be honest, I'm scared of the future, in my town, people with 'skinheads' are branded as thugs. I can't style my hair, two reasons, not much hair to style with, and the other is its so weak and wavy, once the wind attacks it then my hairstyle looks trampy lol. :woot:

Anyway, I'll stick around here, very good web site, really appreciate whoever created it.

I really feel for you being only 19 and having to take that sort of crap from people you don't even know... That's f**ked up man.

I haven't had anyone comment on my hair loss, other than close friends... which I don't mind - definitely not hurtful stuff either... I'd assume the only way I could deal with it if it happened is to pick something noticeable about the person doing it (big ears, nose, fat etc.) and give them a verbal thrashing. Of course this is petty and childish and sinks me to their level, but in this case I'd hate to just walk away and leave them with the smug satisfaction those sort of people thrive on.

Dude that sounds fucked up... I don't think it would be even legal (in Finland anyways) to not let someone in a night club because he has hairloss. Where do you live?

You got your whole f'in life ahead of you. Oh by the way I have an 18 year old cousin who is at least a NW3 diffuse crown, and he gets more women than you can imagine. He has the whole Bad Boy think going for him and it help that he has a great body and plays in a band!

Fact of the matter pal, your body is changing, many people see that as a bad thing, I say f*** them, cos most of the times there mongos who are neurotic and have no clue on social life.

The only way to get even is to get an image, put on a s-hit load of muscle, maybe get some tattoos, a few peircings etc. If i was going NW7 i swear id just get on the f-uckin roids and get massive! To the OP, use someone like Jason Statham as your inspiration, he is almost full bald and chicks love him! Esp hot asian chicks like the one in this pic

What a stupid arguement, How many guys have the looks or even the genetics to be like Jason Statham. What if this guy is 5'7" and weighs 130 lbs. Even if he worked his *** off and devoted his spare time CCS style to it he'd struggle to get to 180lbs and then he'd still not have the face of Jason Statham.
Its like telling every guy with red hair that he should make himself look like Robert Redford.
I myself workout 3 times a week and have done for 13 yrs but I still find it incredibly patronising that some guys on here advise every hairloss sufferer to try and be a bodybuilding Vin Diesel/Statham clone. As if thats the only option available. :thumbdown2:

FYI some girls like that look and some dont but its not a look that everyman can carry off especialy those in their 30/40's or those who dont have the time to be a gym junkie.

Statham looks good bald because he has nice facial structure and nice body.
