Ok guys so I got a few questions...just a few things I would like to know not being all freaky about my wet hair again...

.Ok...first off...could I be totally screwed by my diffuse thinning? I ask this because well my dad has both diffuse thinning and male pattern baldness it seems because he is thinning @ the back, and is I'd say Norwood 4ish...and on top of this, although my mother has fairly thick hair, she seems to have few follicles, always had her whole life...her hair looks horrible when wet, but when put up...sort of in a clusted pile with hairspray there is basically no scalp showing... In my case I seem to have inherited this thin hair and balding, because when I put my hair up IT DOES LOOK FULL under certain angles...so I am thinking only a few short cycles on already thin hair could make it look like the awful sh*t it is..

Secondly, does diffuse thinning ever hit the hairline...my hairline looks basically almost perfect and theres a thicker blonde line where my hairline is basically near full... with my 2nd part to this question being what is the best treatment for diffuse thinning....


FINALLY...I know this is going to cause a bit of a storm but I seriously do think @ least DIFFUSE thinning has some link to mastebating...esp as a kid I could go up to 30 a day...no joke...I still do it @ least 1nce a day, and I think it it somewhat hitting the hair...Some further proof for this is..well basically my parents are divorced and I can say for a fact he isn't getting any nor does he masterbate...he is a strictly religious type, so with 99.99% certainity I can claim this...and basically, for my dad's age, it seems he is solely being hit by his genetics...I think with my dad's genes and my jacking off i will be slick bald because of my jacking off...

Oh yea one more thing...how does the mechanism for diffuse differ from male pattern baldness...my derm. told me...the spaces in between my hairs are getting wider..which I guess would indicate diffuse thinning..but he also said I am losing it in a pattern consistent with male pattern baldness...wtf gives...to me I think I am diffuse thinning in a NW7 pattern. Also is it possible to have like totally totally bald head...I ehard it stops @ a certain point...any help is greatly appreciated.

I think it may be something that happens in a given people based on genetics...sort of akin to diabetics...they need glucose...but metabolize it much differently....so maybe JUST maybe, it would seem why my male pattern baldness is so much more aggresive than my fathers.

Hey Moose,

Have you ever shaved your head? Maybe just enough so theres a little stuble? From what i remeber with those pictures you posted a while back, your hair is almost exactly the same as mine (Thin everywhere - front, sides, back and top). I shaved mine a few months back, and let me tell you, at times its such a relieve to not worry about hair. Although the jelousy got to me when i would walk around and see people with a full head of hair, so i attempted to grow mine back. But im thinking of shaving again. Only problem is that i have a larger then average sized head. I think you would look pretty good with a buzzed cut.

Ohh ... and the beauty is that when your hair is wet, it doesnt clumb. Right after i get out of the shower, my head looks exactly the same as it did right before i got it. Couldnt even notice that my hair was wet.

I am 18..and I am thinking about the buzz cut, but like I previously said, I got a very long and narrow face...which would be ok if it was sorta like Adam Sandler's...but my forehead is GINORMOUS a bit over 3 inches....and thats with my hairline NOT receded

Like I said I think it will affect you if you are MEANT to be effected by it...just like sugar levels will affect the diabetic...to me it will make no difference if I eat 50 brownies...to a diabetic it could mean life or death...and its diff for sex with a girl in the sense, you don't have sex everyday....you can jack off daily, but face it I dont think anyone has sex daily...and when you do ejaculate from sex, I think it does count as if though you jacked off.
