Give it more time, 1 week is way to early. Plus you may be able to get over your side affects....

terrible sides in first 2 -2 and half months.(once a day)

Back to normal now.(2-3 times a day)

Whilst I was on finasteride I must admit I did suffer a little. But my G/F never failed to get me going...

yikes....2 and a half months to get over sides....how about you traxdata? how long it take you...i believe i was reading your story the other day and you were facing sides (sexual dysfuncitons) throughout the treatment? which um..you thought was with age? ..or was that somebody elses story....too many stories...um..you wanted to start a family? hows that coming along amigo?

this is...gonna be...some embarrasing sh*t....if i go through impotence for the next 2-3 months....*major sigh*...

oh well..


i'm thinking of having my pharmacist friend make me a batch of pills with each pill having 0.8 mg finasteride, some saw palmetto and vitamin b6 with zinc in it as well..... HAH !

might as well castrate myself..

another thing...this decrease in shedding....(30 hair to around 7 or 8) ..it couldnt possibly be because of finasteride could it? could it have kicked in within a week ?!...or has my shed gone down naturally...i read on a website where finasteride reduces dht within 24 hours of taking it...*shrugs....

ive been on 1/6 proscar every other day, slightly number dick but it makes sex last wayyy longer and a much more intense finale

I have been on finasteride for about a month and have had a little bit of a sex drive issue. It started about 2.5 weeks in and appears to be getting better. Basically it is just harder to get it up and the erection is not as hard as it was before consistently. However I think that before I went on finasteride I was having some hyperandrogen issues because my hair went to sh*t really quick (3 months) and I was in a near constant state of arrousal. I was also doing really well at the gym, but I felt very aggressive. I feel kind of normal now and it really isn't a bad thing.

dinzy...thats pretty much what i'm going through too..not complete impotence but ..like you said it harder getting there and not the same. do let me know how long it takes for them to completely vanish. cause its day 10 now and i'm getting tired of this.
