finasteride and SCARY side effects

i was watching a video on youtube about an amateur talking about his experience with finasteride, that he experienced really bad side effects. PERMANENT ones. even after stopping the drug! do you guys really think that when stopping finasteride for a couple years your body could crash in the long run?

Tampering your bodies hormonal composition isn't natural so of course they are side effects, whether they are permanent is still debateable, some people don't get sides, others get debilitating ones that last for years and some people's sex drive never returns, although I don't know whether that's due to the drug or just age. Its just a risk you have to take whether your hair is important enough or not. IMO DHT is still an important hormone in an adult male but its what causes male pattern baldness, so that's why this whole situation is so ****ed up.

I could tell very early on that finasteride wasn't for me. All of my sides did go away after stopping. But I wouldn't play around with continuing to take it if experiencing sides.

I've been using finasteride for five months and haven't experienced sides. Maybe I've been lucky. From what I've seen, only a minority of users will experience them

i have also been talking to him, he said that '' I took it for 5 weeks. first 4 weeks no problem then my hormones crashed. 8 years ago. Testosterone now does not work.''

It's funny that it's this video I literally just saw this yesterday haha. I wouldn't make fun of him in the comments though man, although very rare these sides can happen.

its important to remember that finasteride only stops around 65% of dht, for some people thats too much and extreme sides are experienced.

You came off as pretty condescending in your comments man. Although rare some guys do get these extreme sides sadly.

People that struggle with finasteride are mostly low testostserone nerds that fearmong others into losing their hair. I take dutasteride and produce 700n/gs+ of test naturally and my c*** gets harder than a wooden table. Take the pill and keep your hair. The risk is worth it,most the people that fearmong have TERRIBLE OCD to the point where they convince themselves they can't get hard. If you go bald you are going to struggle getting laid anyways,Id rather have to take v**** than be bald any day of the week. Do not let peoples fearmonging stop you from achieving success my friend.

He is not condescending some assholes are spreading their BS about propecia when I have been on since 18 and use dutasteride now. This poor guy wants to hold on to his hair only to have to deal with OCD/anxiety disordered individuals that self sabotage into not getting erections.We are talking people that have low testosterone to begin with and already had weak erections prior to beginning.We need to deal with hairloss AGGRESSIVELYl,snake oil will NOT keep hair on your scalp finasteride/dutasteride WILL!

thats what i think, id say i produce naturally a lot of testosterone due to factors like muscle mass, voice etc. that must be the reason i havent gotten sides yet
