If I were you, I would just take 1 mg of Finasteride daily, stick with it and see how it goes.

ED is very slightly more effective than EOD. The difference is very small, but does exist. Unless you're doing it for cost-effectiveness, there's not much point in taking finasteride EOD instead of ED. I'd just stick with ED and see how it is working for you.

So you were going to do 1mg EOD but didnt?

Considered it, but went with 1mg a day as the drugs prescribed

I was taking finasteride 0.5mg EOD for 7months i had consistent shedding which made me doubt whether my dosage was actually working. In the end i have ended up on 1mg ED (for the past 3 months) and it has made no real difference. Basically 1mg EOD will probably do the same as 1mg ED but for peace of mind i would just go straight for 1mg ED.
