Just recieved my Folligen (Spray) today and brought some minoxidil yesterday, so im quite excited!

Just wanted to ask a few questions!

A) How long do you guys wait to apply folligen once you have applied the minoxidil on your scalp?

B) Today I applied the Folligen (For the first time) 1 minute after my application of minoxidil (As the skin biology leaflet says) but I dont have a tingling sensation like you guys mention, is this normal?

Thanks guys, your help is well appreciated!

I usually wait about 15 minutes but I dont think this timing is all that critical. Pickhard recommends at least 5 minutes I believe.

The lack of tingling is usually a sign that your scalp is in pretty good health. No issues there, good news.

Foligen sux.
I bought a cream, and wasted $18. My scalp could not handle that stinging crap. I gave it almost a month but the stinging would not reduce at all. My scalp would burn and get inflamed big time after I apply it.
Get Tricomin.

Folligen is 10x more powerful than tricomin, as it has a stronger concentration in tricomins active ingredient - Copper Peptides. I dont notice any irritation at all. So that is great news!

Im gonna stick with it religiously, I have heard LOTS of positive stuff regarding Folligen and minoxidil together.

I think you should give folligen another shot to be honest, and maybe try some emu oil with it so they both can heal your scalp.

Just my 2 pence!

(Nobody knows how this will work for me, as everybody varies but I aim to be positive)

thats means that your scalp in not in good condition. Sort of like when you put medication over a cut or scrape. It will sting yes. If the stinging is that bad then I know with the spray you can dilute it with water. Don't konw about the creme.

The only reason i switched to tricomin from folligen is i can spray the tricomin on during the day and its not greasy. After my last bottle of tricomin is gone i will go back to folligen simply because its cheaper and i will only use it at night.I use to have some irritation from the mixox. but my scalp is in great shape now.

You might have better luck with the therapy spray. I apply it with a dropper just like minxidil. I used the cream once and did not care for it.

folligen

Folligen was 'way too strong for me. I ended up with red bumps, stinging, and more loss. My scalp is in good condition but I have really sensitive skin. So I'm back to Tricomin, too, which I've used for several years. Scalp is happy again, but I wish Folligen had worked out for me since it's so effective. Oh well.

I can say that whilst on minoxidil, I used folligen would made my scalp feel great and also redeuced shedding.

I stopped using it because my hair was going green and the shedding started up again.

I then started up again and the shedding has dropped significantly

You can do both, tri in the AM, folligen at night. I am planning on doing this.

You can dilute folligen spray with distilled water. Suggest you try a half and half solution, which I was using post transplant. Move the percentage up or down depending on how you tolerate it.

Saves money too!

Good luck

Folligen is the only thing that gets my irritation in check!

I apply it 15-20 minutes after minoxidil.
