Hi

I want a hair transplant. I'm 21 and may be a norwood 6 in the future. Now i'm a 3 and i have always been a 2 at least.

Is FUE for me? If not, why not?
Would a FSUE (Follicular SINGLE Unit Extraction) be scarless? (Not the typical FUE)

I have no f*cking Idea what FSUE is. It's probably a mrketing scam is just pplain old FUE.

Whether it's for you or not is a question of what doctor you will use and how much are you willing to spend. Cost is a HUGE factor in FUE transplants. Strip can give you way more coverage for less at the present time, and DR's like Hssson and Wong in Vancouver do an awesome job at strip surgery.

how much do you pay for the best job ? around $3000 ? Like full head of thick hair, and how long does it take to regrow those hairs also do you have to pay again this cost in the future ? sry for the newb questiosn, but im considering this in future if nothing works :D

$3000. for a good Hair Transplant. Good F*cking luck.

If you add up all the cost of travel(don't settle for a sh*tty Dr in your area) and accomadation it might come to at $1000. Then I think the going rate is around $8 an FUE. So 500 Fue's would be around $3500. And let me tell you that if you ar a nw3 or more that ain't sh*t for coverage.

Hair transplants are very expensive and must be researched extremely well. Picking the DR is key and not being afraid to spend money is also very crucial.

hehe thanks for clearing that up, actually im not really any of the Norwood right now. i just have a very thin hair no balding spots but very thin hair that u can see through my scalpe i hope in the future it will stay like this and if i want more hair in future i will have to pay for 500 fue. What does 1 fue looks like ? does it stay lifetime ? does it feels like your hair ? :freaked2:

Fue is your own hair, and yes it's unaffected by DHT, so it should be there for life. It's a hair transplant, but instead of taking a big "strip" form the back of your head to harvest follicles they kind of punch one out at a time.

FUE is basically a more non-evasive way of doing a hair transplant. It costs more than a regular "strip" transplnat becuase it is very time consuming and tedious work. The overall advantage is that there is no hug scar at the back of your head, so if you want to have the shaved look it's better.

ok great answers bob,

my questions continues, im willing to do anything if nothing works so bare with me.

Have you done hair transplant on your own head ? did it hurted that much, how long does it take you to have your dream hair that you wished for ages . Also how much you payed, and what is the best way to do it. Hair transplant or the fue ? i dont know the difference so :? . Also do you have to see your doctor after everthing goes fine ? like taking fue's out and etc... When i pay once and im happy i dont have to do anything else right ? it just feels like own hair and keep it like that until you die, and gel it all you want and even the barber wont notice it ? thanks for the replies additional info is welcomed :)

cheers

NO i have not had transplants done YET!!!. I'm only 25 and still have a decent head of hair, relatively speaking of course. I have extensively researched the subject, and have been following the evolution of hairtransplants and learnt about what terrible sh*t went on in the 80's with plugs(If you can imagine looking like a doll). All for the prupose of eventually getting a transplant, if like you say nothing else works or comes along. I'm a vain motherFucker and nee hair.

It does not hurt because the doctor numbs you up real good.

FUE's are hairtransplants. There strip tranplants and FUE tranplants.
Strip is where they literally take a strip of scalp from the back of your head and then take those follicles from the strip and transplant them into your balding area's. FUE's is different because they kind of punch the follicles out one by one and then tranplant into your balding area's.

You could have one procedure or you could have 2-3, depends on how bald you are going into surgery and how your baldness progresses after.

Remeber it's you own hair and you can gel it etc. and do all you want. Follicles from the sides and back of your head are not affected by DHT.
