Generic Propecia in US Pharmacies

Anyone know if generic Propecia is available in any US pharmacies? My insurance company explicitly says they WILL NOT cover brand name Propecia but they WILL cover generic, which makes me think that the generic may be available.

i am almost positive there is no generic available for propecia in the us. maybe in the future though. i do know that there is a generic for proscar which you can split up.
