Given the link between male pattern baldness and poor scalp blood circulation, will cardio exercise help?

There seems to be some link in the literature suggesting that cardiovascular health (either expressed as blood circulation in the scalp or general cardio health) plays a part in male pattern baldness.

Say you've stabilized/plateaued with finasteride/dutasteride. No more loss, no more gains.

Are there any studies investigating if high intensity cardio; such as interval training on a bike where you sustain periods of high heart rate efforts (80%+ your max, eg 170bpm) followed by low effort rest intervals (70bpm) have any effect on hair growth or hair quality?

I mean; it goes without saying that cardio is something we should do, but if it also helps my hair quality, that's even more motivation to get on the bike and train.
