Gyno possible without tenderness???

I've been on 1 mg propecia for a year now and I'm always paranoid about the possible gyno factor. I do have some extra fatty tissue in the chest, but I haven't excersized much lately, so I don't think I can make a fair assessment.

My question is: Is it possible to get gyno (even a mild case of it) WITHOUT the nipple/breast area becomming 'tender' first as everyone says? I mean, could the finasteride just cause extra fatty tissue in that area without that area ever feeling sensitive??
