hair feels thinner after using minoxidil

I've been using rogaine foam and liquid twice daily for about 1 month and a half and my hair appears to look thinner, anyone know why this is?

well have you had an increase in shedding?

it usually happens in the first 4-6 weeks

the shedding is usually making a better quality of hair to grow in it's place

i don't really notice coz my hair is short, i just know it looks and feels thinner

I've heard that some people experience this. I too notice it is thinner which I thought couldn't be possible since I was already pretty thin. Even though its thinner I can see an improvement so I wouldn't worry about it.

this might be the same as i had. where i applied the minoxidil was a whiter colour which makes your hair look thinner as more scalp is visible. i think this is just the residue of the minoxidil which if you look closely mite be there?
