This has nothing todo with hair multiplication (HM)!!! HM involves cell growt/multiplication in a laboratory from stemcells. Also called hair-cloning. But this DHI is the same as FUE transplant.. Donno why they choose to find a new name for it.

Fight4hairs,

If you read the article again, the DHI represenative claims that hair grows in three hair follicular units in the back of the head, and predominately in one hair follicular units in the front. They are claiming that they have been FUE'ing out some of the hairs individually out of the three-hair back of the head follicular units and moving them to the front. When this happens, some of the single hairs are REPRODUCING a three hair follicular unit IN THE FRONT, and the old follicular unit in the back, now with two hairs........eventually reproduces an extra hair to replace the taken one.

I really dont believe them at all to be honest with you. But they got this article out. I imagine this is a tag line to get folks in for THEIR FUE transplants.

Coen Gho, according to a university study, has come up with a method for making one hair into two. He his taking a FUE, but LEAVING IT IN THE SKIN, cutting the top two/thirds of the papilla IN THE SKIN, slathering it in keratinocyte growth factors (whole papilla apparently) and moving the top 2/3's to the front (recipeint site). The university study was claiming that this method was causing about a 90% donor rejeneration. Its a crude form of multiplying hairs. Problem is, he can reportedly only do about 500 or so hairs in a days surgery because this process is so intricate and slow. So a man would be getting surgery every six or seven months for many years to get 5 thousand entire follicular units moved.

Until proven otherwise, Id be astonished if the DHI claim was true. It would seem an FUE Doctor would have tripped up on this phenomena in surgery and reported on it by now if this were so.
