half tab of propecia

I know there were some people on this forum taking only a half tab of propecia daily, I was wondering how that's working out? And, for those in the know, is a half tab of propecia an acceptable treatment plan? (Coupled with minoxidil and nizoral of course.)

Studies indicate that as little as .47 grams of finasteride promotes the same effects as one pill. Im reluctant to try it though for fear that I might be wasting my time and money.
