Has anyone tried minoxidilmax's topical finasteride + minoxidil products? For 2 months I have been using 0.5 ml of their EssenGen product daily; which should equal 0.25 mg finasteride topically per day.
However, I can't tell if it's working at all (shedding a lot of hair atm though), I haven't had any finasteride side effect at all. This makes me suspicious regarding if the product works at all. It's worth noting I use 5% minoxidil once daily as well and previously used 5% minoxidil twice daily for 1+ year.
I want the finasteride to go systemic to some extent, as I don't apply the solution to my entire scalp, but want DHT to be lowered in the entire scalp.
Edit: I'd rather topically apply finasteride if I can still get benefits in the entire scalp as opposed to taking the pill. But I'm fearing that this isn't doing anything and therefore I am forced to take finasteride orally.
