all good for me (well better than I could have hoped). No sides, temple regrowth.

I just started using it around 2 or 3 weeks ago (I should have kept track of my start date!) and it looks like my hair has gotten a lot thinner, really quickly. My thinning problem was primarily the crown/temples, but I started applying it to the top of my head too, along my part (hair is parted in the middle) because of some diffusing, but you can see through all of the hair I've applied it to now.

I know there is the "dread shed" period after a couple of months, but it seems like my hair loss sped up dramatically as soon as I started using it. Not sure what to think, or if I should just deal with it and keep going... :(

Rogaine rarely makes anyones hair worse most people who said it made their hair worse was the fact they were probably inconsistant with it and add on the fact their hairloss was normally progressing as rogaine doesn't maintain.

This is an interesting question.

The statement of the "actual failure rate of minoxidil" has been touted before on another site. Due to the influence of pharmaceutical companies, this data may be extremely hard to find. It would be quite interesting to actual data to support this

I have been on 15% Minoxidil for approximately one year and plan to discontinue use (of this strength) in lieu of a milder version (5%) due to personal regression of hairloss. Although I can’t drop minoxidil altogether for the obvious fear of the unknown, I do think it has had a detrimental effect in this high concentration (15%).

Personal acquaintances that have experienced hairloss and opted for a more natural approach of only diet and scalp massage therapy are no worse than I.
