Have You Ever Tried Applying Dutasteride Directly To The Scalp?

I bought Avodart dutasteride. They are capsules. The capsule contains 0.5 mg of dutasteride and glycerin. I cut the capsule and applied the contents in the capsule directly to the scalp. Unfortunately, some the hair has fallen off at the same time. I don't know if these hairs are falling off due to dutasteride or glycerin. Of course, it does not rule out that these hairs are already very unhealthy, and external friction will make them very easy to fall off.

Is it effective to apply the contents of dutasteride capsule directly to the scalp to fight hair loss? Should I insist on doing this?

dutasteride isn’t going to penetrate the scalp on its own. You need a vehicle.
