Have you tried finasteride? If so was it worth it?

Just curious...wanted to get an overall picture of everyone's finasteride experience. I'm thinking about trying it, but obviously am scared just like everyone else. Thanks for voting.

Exactly. I am also very interested to see how everyone's experience is going.

Being a young sexually-active guy, I would hate to increase my likelihood of getting laid by keeping my hair only to be humiliated with a semi in the sack. :shakehead:

Plus, I want to make sure I'm paying 60 bucks a month for something efficacious.

Reminds me of the movie Joe vs. the Volcano with Tom Hanks, where a doctor gives a fake diagnosis of a 'brain cloud' to make him think he's only got a month to live. Later he finds out it was a scam and a woman asks him "You mean you were diagnosed with something called a brain cloud and didn't ask for a second opinion?"

Ive tried propecia a while ago...It give me sexual side effects like limp dick and no desire for sex...

Ive been on finasteride for about 6weeks- too early to tell, though my hair doesnt seem to be falling out like it was. ive also been using minoxidil for two weeks & nizoral for 6 weeks.
