in indian medicine - ayur veda , reason for hair loss = bad health

here are ways to improve health , and also specific heath exercises that help stopping hair loss.

1) First and most important - eliminate toxins from body.
- make sure you don't suffer from constipation - you must excrete COMPLETELY 2 times a day - morning and afternoon.
- If you suffer from chronic constipation then you must take natural laxatives to rid of the waste each day and night.
- Drink 8 warm glasses of water in morning each day ( four glasses at a time then break for 10 mins) before eating
anything, this will help clean your body from inside and it will relieve constipation without curing it.
- fast - dont eat anything for the whole day , once in 15 days.


2) Diet : for stopping hair loss:
- eat 2 times daily - once at 10 - 12 am , and then at 6-7 pm. inbetween you can drink milk.
- eat (fruits, vegetables and milk) = 80%, then you can eat 20% whole grains like wheat/nuts/rice/etc
- no meat / eggs /fish, if you are non vegetarian then reduce consumption slowly and then completely stop eating any
meat

3) Yoga and Pranayam are exact science to perfect this machine (body)
- do shirshasana (head stand) for a few minutes at first then increase practice to 15 - 20- 30 minutes , this yoga
exercise is given particular importance in fighting hair loss in Ayurveda

- do pranayama breathing exercises - daily for 1 hour in morning. if you are busy 30 minutes is okay too .

4) Celibacy - preserve the precious liquid
- do not ejaculate, in indian medicine , sperm is said to be of highest importance and sperm loss will result in bad health
- if you really need to have sex then learn to orgasm without ejaculation, - chinese technique, i havnt tried it but it is
achievable
- do not masturbate at all
- for people that have regular sex/ masturbation , and it is hard to give up , they must slow down first - reduce to once
per week, then once per month , then once year...

5) advanced cleansing -

- do not think about hair at all - this is important as thoughts are materialized in body, if you will think/worry too much
your body part will disintegrate

6) habbits - routine
- get up at 5 am each day, sleep 6 hours before - 11 pm
- sit up straight all the time
- take cold showers - esp at head
- exercise weekly - play some sport or jog


8) other indian medicinal techniques -
- massage hair with oil at least 2 times / week
- rub hand nails


DOES IT WORK,? YES ? HOW DO I KNOW? BECAUSE I DO THIS EVERYDAY , NOT ADVANCED CLEANSING BUT OTHERS

and if you are taking finasteride , then continue it dont stop.

Just so you know (a little pre-warning) many regular guys that post on this board are going to totally slam this post, but not me, I think it has some merit :)

I agree with the general notion that good health will help maintain not only a little extra hair but prevent many other various diseases, the biggest being heart disease. However the fact still remains that men with the male pattern baldness gene will always have follicles sensetive to DHT. In this case there is nothing you can do. Just slow it down by using finasteride.

Cool post tho. I appreciate the effort :)

Interestingly, there may be a strong connection between balding and the status of our arteries, particularly the status of the lining of the arteries or "endothelium". E.g., severely bald persons have a heart attack rate ( a measure of damage to the endothelium in the form of, e.g., atherosclerosis ) roughly three times the rate of persons who are not bald.

Essentially everyone who does not die of infection, cancer, or trauma-- which means most of us-- dies of endothelial disease, mainly, heart attack or stroke. So be good to your arteries to be good to your scalp.

There are plenty of unhealthy people out there who still have a full head of hair. The only real cause for male pattern baldness is genetic. Drawing a parallel between bad health and balding is just insulting.

It may so that some unhealthy people have a full head of hair.This lucky ones must be genetic secured.That means,that their genes express enough growth promoting,endothel protecting,antiapoptotic genproducts.They may have other disease promoting genetic,which has nothing in common whith male pattern baldness.For example high IGF-1 in addition to good igf-1 receptor expression(what is good for hair health),can promote cancer under bad lifestyle terms.Missing p53 gen expression can induce very bad cancers of all kind.

But for everyone,who has hairloss releated genes,is disease and environmental releated stress,bad for their hair health.In cases of weeker genetics,the environmental and disease releated stress,will maybe dominate.Not every male pattern baldness is polygenetic.

contrariwise,the genes and triggers which causes male pattern baldness,are abel to induce disease(CAD,Diabetes,myocardial infarction,kidney disease) in later life,when all protecting factors for vitally important organes,do decline.


If we see it like this,there is a paralel between hair haelth and health,in both directions

Premature greying,is also releated to some diseases.For example alzheimer,and possibly cancer and thyroid.Premature greying(real PREMATURE greying),has a protective effect for getting affected by male pattern baldness.The reason for this phenomenon,is soonest the missing melanogenesis.Melanocytes are a big source of ROS,alternatively the degree of ROS production is very high in the anagen phase.In cases of missing melanogenesis,androgen,or whatever inducing redox imbalances,cant meet another dangerous source of ROS.That impedes premature catagen,what works expanding for the cycle lenght.

So we must exclude premature greyed people,who developed a disease in later life.

The pig next door to me has his burger's and pizza's delivered to his door by courier every night because he can't be bothered shifting his mammoth bulk a quarter of a mile and back, I'm hitting on the fruit and veg big time, hiking everywhere. Meanwhile I have to see his Norwood 1 everytime his people-carrier splashes past me in the street while I have my shameful Norwood 3 under a hat.

It's f ucking genetic, f uck. :stfu:

I don't think he is denying its genetic. No one is. How could you? But I think he is suggesting there is some things you can do to help maintain a little more hair than what you otherwise would if you lived an unhealthy lifestyle. Mind, body and Soul related activities have already been proven to extend life and make people look younger.

Yes its genetic and if your NW7 bound, I dont believe there is ANYTHING you can do. Lifestyle or not. But if your destiny is to reach a slow NW3.5 over the period of 20 years, then I think lifestyle can help prevent this to maybe keep it to a NW2.5-3.0

and for AIDs bodies antibodies have increased enabling patients to remain healthy.

for western people that is hard to believe and there will always be a way to prove the trials wrong. but he has treated over 1000 people in india with cancer. one of them was my relatives friend. who had a cancerous lump in neck and it dissolved after 6 months.

My mum had stage 2A fallopian tube cancer she went through chemotherapy and it is gone now, but now she is doing pranayama too.

I totally agree with everything you have said, 100%.

I've began drinking Lemon Balm at night around 8 before bed around 10. Get at LEAST 8 ours of sleep, I have NO probems sleeping whatsoever, and no problems getting up. My routine is similar:

My daily routine:
Porridge in the morning, followed by a cool glass of water (this differs from the original posting)

Midmorning: two peices of fruits, maybe three. Usually a collection of the following: strawberries, blueberries, apples, bananas, pears, etc glass of pomegranite juice with ice

Lunch: usually either
Salad sanwich with sardines, salmon, herring etc. (I absolutely love fish, cant stand red meat, and quite like chicken) with tomatoes, lettuce, spinach, spring onions, peppers etc. Drink of Green Tea with Gingko Biloba followed by a glass of water.

Midafternoon:
Collection of fruits again

Dinner:
Salmon, rice or quinoa, Vegtables broccoli, cauliflower, peas, carrots, sprouts etc all STEAMED

Sometimes I would have a nice bowl of musili around 2 hours before bed just to settle the stomach.

I do yoga too, nothing like a warm cup of lemon balm tea followed by some relaxive yoga!

I have a thick black mop of hair that has lately been falling to pieces (since last June) which was due to some physical and mental trauma, seb derm too even though my face is clean and quite spots free!

What I say is follow this post, religously.

I also do no masturbate anymore anhavent for the past 9 weeks. It's easy to do if you avoid looking at hot woman so often. My girl understands and has followed suit which has been a great positive. She's stunning looking which makes it difficult

So you avoid looking at your girlfriend and having sex with her (since, you know, physiologically, sex and masturbation are the same) to protect your hair? Is that seriously worth it? I say that as a guy with extensive hair loss.

Your diet, though, sounds very healthy.

Some people really are thick. I never said I was avoiding sex I simply said I was celibate (Okay kind of contradicted myself there!), I just don't care much for sex anymore. There is too much emphasis on sex these days and as enjoyble as it is its not the be all and end all.

So lock up your zipper and see if it works for you.

Excess sexual intercourse = excess hairloss that was the point I was making. I honestly don't want to get into an argument this is just something I believe. Theres not doubt that its genetic how SENSITIVE hair follicles are to DHT.
