Here's my dilema....need your advice.

So I'm 30, started thinning on the crown and now diffuse thinning on the top of my head toward the front. It's getting kinda bad, but still not really noticable. In fact if it stopped today, I'd be perfectly happy. My question is does male pattern baldness ever start and then just stabilize and stay that way for ever? I'm using some topical crap now, but nothing too effective. I'm very worried about starting finasteride and or minoxidil. Is it reasonable to just hope that my hair stabilizes and stays the same or is it inevitable that it will continue to fall out. I feel like I'm fairly young and its starting now I'm pretty much doomed unless I treat it now.

hairloss can level off but no one can know how far it may go,if you feel you wanna stop it now then jump on finasteride,side effects are not common at all.Ive been on finasteride for 3 years come this october and ive had zero side effects,apart from an increased libido which slowly went back to normal.
