At the end of last month, the night before I spent a week away from my three small children for the first time, I noticed an egg-sized bald patch on my head. Since then, the patch has gotten bigger/harder to hide with a comb-over. On the other hand, I seem to have new growth (original stressful situation is over, but I'm increasingly finding the hair loss stressful, and then stressing about how vain I am...). It sounds like AA usually resolves itself. I have an appointment with the dermatologist in a week - hopefully I'm not wasting her time.
