How can I tell if I'm losing my hair?

I'm almost 100% sure I am a crown thinner (maybe diffuse) but it's so hard to tell b/c I think I caught it extremely early. I'm 19 years old btw and have not lost hairline at all. When I look in mirror under light it looks like i'm thinning b/c you can see scalp but I feel like it might just be the lighting/ the fact that crown hair grows in different directions.

So how can I tell?

Go to a doctor, dermatologist i belive it is. They should be able to tell if you are balding or not.

Is male pattern baldness running in your family?
