Today is the first time I took the pill. I haven´t felt any sides yet but Im sure I will because of how scared I am. I had a horrible post crash on adderall so this is the first pill I have taken in more than 3 years. It is also under the use of adderall which was 1 month I started losing hair. I´m not gonna take more than 0,5 mg/day and compensate with using topical dht-supressors. But still I am so scared it is insane, how do u deal with it?

Being someone who was forced fed adderall and ritalin to calm my *** down in highschool, i can say propecia is really nothing in comparison to the depression and mind f*** you get after coming off ADD meds (i took them for a year in highschool). Look chances are you will barely get any side effects from finasteride, but if you do, 99% of the time you can just come off the drug and go back to normal.

Theres really no point at all in worrying about sides, if you get them youll know, and youre just freaking yourself out for nothing right now. This is a mindset thats horrible to people who try finasteride. My advice would be, forget that you're taking it and assess once your 2-3 months in.

I was like you before i tried finasteride, scared my dick was done for good. Im 11 months in now and my sex life hasnt changed one bit.

Get off the forums for those who experience side effects. Never give side effects a thought, imagine that they don't exist. If you worry about side effects all day every day, I believe that the chances of getting them increases.
The mind is powerful thing :)

Hey guys, just to be useful. Yesterday i took 1/3 of a pill and got hangover like symptoms, and today i got same symptoms but not as profound. Other then that no sides, so Im not worried anymore. Tomorrow ill start taking 0,25mg every other day instead and Ill keep it like that until the brainfog subsides. If not ill probably start with cb-03-01 in the start of next year as it seems to have minimal side effects. Other than that ill be using s5, reviviogen, keto shampoo and take some vitamines. I also heard that black tea could possibly reduce dht, so ill replace coffee with it. Thx.

Jean Luc has severe behavioural issues. Probably wasn't loved as a child and became angry when his balding kicked into full gear. It's people like that who end up alone and look to the internet for validation.

all sides of propecia are reversible . Because of the short half life .
The only irreversible side is puffy nipples which become gyno after some times on the drug ( years ).

Just take it and don't think about it ffs. Every day you go without propecia is gonna be a regret. I wish i wasn't scared of propecia back then and took it at the first sign of hair loss. I could have saved much more hair.

I disagree. I think permanent sides are real in a tiny tiny amount of people for still unknown reasons. We assume and say once the drug leaves your system everything goes back to what it was, but we certainly dont know that.
Arguably today your only choice is propecia or just accept male pattern baldness for now. Nothing else really even minoxidil is just not enough

I tried it and im getting hangover symptoms, there is no quality of life living like that. But i will experiment this year and see how it goes. First i thought ill lower the dose and then work my way up. But maybe i can make a topical by crushing some pills, dissolve it in a small amount of alcohole and then mix it with s5 cream.

But how much finasteride is there in a 1mg propecia pill? 30%?

Also, is x mg/ml equivalent to (x/10)% ?
