I once made my own oil by mixing rosemary and argan, and it worked okay. The problem was consistency — it was messy and I’d skip it. I realized ready-made blends are easier to keep up with. Evavitae had that mix of oils already in one formula, and being able to use it consistently gave me much better results than DIY.
